Just say, ‘I’m screening my calls,’ or ‘I don’t feel like talking right now!’ Be honest! And the ‘have a great day’ at the end? It’s like a little passive-aggressive jab. ‘I’m busy living my great day, unlike you, stuck here listening to my recorded voice!’
