So, passwords. What’s the deal with passwords? You create one, right? Strong, unique, memorable. Then the website tells you, ‘No, not memorable *enough*.’ Or, ‘Must contain a capital letter, a number, a symbol, and the tear of a unicorn.’ And you’re just trying to log into your email! Then you write it down, because who can remember ‘G3org3Cost@nz@!’ for their bank account? And then you’re told, ‘Don’t write down your passwords!’ So I’m supposed to remember twenty different, increasingly complex strings of characters, but also not remember them? It’s a paradox! It’s like they *want* us to just give up and let them have our data.
