What is with restaurant portions these days? You go to one place, and they bring you this plate with a tiny little architectural masterpiece in the middle. Is it food? Is it a sculpture? You need a magnifying glass to find the actual sustenance! You leave feeling lighter than when you arrived. Then, you go to another place, and they bring out a mountain! It’s like they’re feeding a small army. You need a take-home container bigger than your head! Can we just find a middle ground? A reasonable amount of food that neither starves me nor requires me to buy a second refrigerator just to store the leftovers? It’s not a mystery, it’s just dinner!
